Fairfax clients have a particular relationship with a suit: it gets seen in court. The Tailored Man has dressed Fairfax attorneys, judges’ clerks, and business owners since 1969, and every garment is fitted in person at our Tysons Corner showroom by a clothier who keeps your pattern on file.

Getting Here from Fairfax

From Old Town Fairfax or the courthouse complex it’s about 20 minutes north on Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) straight into Tysons; from Fair Oaks, take I-66 East to Route 7. We’re in the office tower at 1750 Tysons Blvd, Suite 130 – near Tysons Galleria, not inside it – with parking in the building.

Who We Serve in Fairfax

Trial attorneys who spend their weeks at the Fairfax County Courthouse and want a suit that holds its shoulder line through a long cross-examination, George Mason leadership and faculty, contractors along the I-66 corridor, and grooms. A courtroom suit is a specific brief – conservative cloth, structured shoulder, trousers that recover from a full day seated – and it’s one we’ve been filling for decades.

What We Make

Custom suits, with most clients landing between $1,295 and $1,995 (premium fabrics from $1,295; the Iniziare collection is the entry point at $895, half-canvas), custom dress shirts, tuxedos from $1,095, wedding attire, sport coats, trousers, and alterations. New to custom? Our plain-English guide to bespoke vs. custom vs. made-to-measure explains the differences.

Construction and Fabrics

Half-canvas is our floor – we never build a fused suit. Full canvas (+$200), fully handmade (+$350), and our Presidential tier (+$500–$750) are upgrades. Cloth comes from Loro Piana, Holland & Sherry, Ermenegildo Zegna, Scabal, Dormeuil, Stylbiella, and more, chosen for your body and the season.

Turnaround

Most custom suits are ready for a first fitting in seven weeks. For a wedding or an event, plan on ordering about twelve weeks ahead.
